i was extremely excited for the original release only to be disappointed after less than a wee of playing, most of the thing which they said were going to be in the game, just simply weren't in it, and i hear still are not. Classes were very unbalanced, and solo questing was very hard( i was on a pvp server, Because pvp was the biggest aspect of the game i was attracted to, yet didn't deliver) as people would rather just kill you and steal the quest goal than team up, this is because you can simply kill anyone regardless of race. Very disappointed with the game.
Crush your enemies!

1st impressions are good. As a long time WoW player who got fed up with the grind, and more recently Warhammer Online, until I got fed up with the server population issues (read: ghost town - and that was after I used my free character migration to a busier server?!?). Now on to Age of Conan.... the look and feel of this game is amazing, very immersive. The directional/combo combat method actually works very well and makes you feel like you are more involved during combat. Only played a couple of different character classes for a few hours each but so far my experience has been faultless and fun. If you're bored with your current MMORPG, or want to try one for the first time (the single player tutorial element for the first hour or so of gameplay that you start with teaches you how to play nicely without feeling like a tutorial at all), or just like blood and guts Conan style... then at £9.99 this is a safe bet :-)
Disappointed.
