I bought this and the yoda lightsabre, the battery compartment on the yoda, was suck, so i am waiting on a replacements, and on this one, it moves around therefore going on and off by itself, very annoying! Other than that, its a great item.

Always been a big star wars fan and also wanted a lightsaber but to be honest non caught my eye until the FX came out a few years back but £100?... i wanted one but couldn't really afford that, until now that is... Got here today and ive not stopped smiling, the craftman ship, the sounds, the blade, everthing a lightsaber should be and more. This is my first Fx and with Darth Vader being a iconic character i just couldn't resist this one, i beleive this to be the first of many and i may even purchase two of each from here just so i can keep one un-opened as a collectable. Luke one Next i think, then yoda and perhaps play may get the more recent ones in a this amazing price. I would recomment to any star wars fan.

This is by far the best looking lightsabre on the market, please remember it is more a collectable item rather then a toy. Much more value for money at £37.99 then the original £80+ prices. However there are a few issues, i noticed when it is lit you dont have a solid red colour throughout the tube, for example in places it can be a very strong red and in other places it looks pink. Also the packaging is very very poor. All i had was a little A4 plastic courier bag wrapped around the middle of the box and the courier label stuck to the box itself. Edges of the box were also damaged where it gets thrown around by the courier. If possible buy this item where you can collect it in person.
