Absolute bloodbath from beginning to end, the characters we all love have grown so much and I really felt for the tragedies they had to encounter, I cried several times whilst reading this final installment. You really feel in your heart the realisation that HP must face what he has been dreading all these years, and you really feel his fear and the huge burden that has been placed on him. I so much enjoyed reading this last book and finished it within 3 days and was very disappointed I couldn't go on reading it forever!
The Possibilities were endless!

OK, like many people I am a huge fan of the books and everything Harry Potter. Like many, when this books was released I was in a queue at midnight waiting for my copy, I even took the following day off work to read it!!
The trouble was, even though I would say that this is one of the best books, the ending lets it down. The story is packed full of action, twists and turns and even revisits places which we only have had a glimpse of before, as well as showning us locations we have loved to have a glimpse at. We see familiar characters as well as meeting some new faces and the pace of the story (for me) seemed to be quite fast and I truthfully could not put the book down. 3 quarters of the way through the book I really felt that this, as well as the other 6 books was really going to give an ending worth the wait and the dedication that all the fans have shown, would be gratified.
Unfortunately it didn't - and I will not tell you how it end either! Maybe it's because I had constantly beeen reading peoples theories about the story and calculating my own too, but it seems that the ending simply fizzled out. To me it almost felt as if J K Rowling gave it a contemporary hollywood feel, so it would please everyone. I am afraid it just appeared to me that Rowling may have lost her nerve. I may be wrong but the way the story ended too, seemed to give a rather uncomfortable prospect that the poor readers may have to endure a clone of the original books IF Rowling ever did consider to continue with the genre.
As I have said, I love Harry Potter and I know J K Rowling cannot please everyone. But I must say I was quite devastated at how it turned out, not the story but the 'sell out'. You may think differently so please give it a try, but it could have been so much more......
